Sales with conscience

Hello Flamboyaner!

The sales are here! And with them, low prices and offers bombarding us from all sides. We know how tempting it is to fill up your shopping cart without much thought, but we want to help you make smarter and more sustainable purchases this year. Let's get started!

Although, as you know, at Beflamboyant we don’t do sales and we’re not in favour of them, if you still have the idea of making some purchases during this discount season, here are a few tips to help you shop wisely:

1. Think before you buy

Before you rush to buy the first pair of shoes you see, ask yourself if you really need them. Check your wardrobe to see if there’s a gap to fill or if those old shoes you’ve had for years are ready for retirement. Buying with intention is the first step towards more conscious consumption.

2. Quality over quantity

Don’t be fooled by low prices! It’s better to invest in a good pair of shoes that will last you several seasons than to fill your home with cheap pairs that won’t last. At Beflamboyant, we use sustainable and recycled materials, ensuring each pair is super comfortable, durable, and long-lasting.

3. Research your options

Take advantage of the sales to do a bit more research on the brands you’re considering. Make sure they share your values of sustainability and fair trade. Look for shoes made with eco-friendly materials and ethical processes.

Sales can be a great opportunity to get high-quality products at better prices. But remember, the key is to shop smartly.

As you already know, at Beflamboyant, we have a very clear zero-sales policy. You might wonder, what does this mean? We know this might sound a bit different from what you’re used to, but we want to share with you the reasons behind our decision. That’s why, in this blog, we’ll tell you the 8 reasons why we say NO to sales.
