This Valentine's Day, we want to celebrate something we often forget: self-love. At Beflamboyant, we are not only passionate about vegan, sustainable and eco-friendly footwear, but also about inspiring you to walk with confidence and love for yourself.

Valentine's Day seems like the perfect time to reflect on our relationships, but not just the ones we share with others. It is a time to strengthen the most important relationship: the one we have with ourselves. At Beflamboyant, we believe that dressing ethically is a tangible way to express that self-love.

What is self-love?

Self-love is basically loving yourself. It's about valuing, respecting and accepting yourself as you are. When you have self-love, you feel good about yourself, recognise your strengths and accept your weaknesses. It's like having a positive and healthy relationship with yourself.

How to work on self-love?

  1. Do things that make you happy. Make time for yourself and what you love. Enjoy your favourite series, play video games or just lie down on the couch with a book and relax.
  2. Take care of yourself. A nice bath, a good nap or just relaxing with a cup of your favourite drink can do wonders for your mood.
  3. Learn to say no. Don't feel obligated to accept everything. Set boundaries and learn to say no when necessary.
  4. Focus on the positive. Don't just focus on your shortcomings. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small, and give yourself credit for your achievements.
  5. Surround yourself with positive people. Being with friends or family who support you and make you feel good about yourself can make all the difference.

Turn this picnic into an exciting adventure, exploring different landscapes and discovering hidden corners. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the special moments and create lasting memories. Enjoy nature, sunshine and a delicious meal in the company of your beflamboyant sneakers while spending some quality time with yourself!
  2. Enjoy a spa and relaxation day at home. Run a hot bath with aromatic salts, light some scented candles and play soft music in the background to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. You can also make yourself a homemade face mask with natural ingredients while keeping your feet nice and warm with some good socks. Take this time to care for your skin, relax and indulge yourself - you deserve it!
  3. Organise a movie or series marathon. Choose your favourite films or series and get ready to spend a whole day enjoying them. Wear comfortable clothes, some soft, warm socks, light a candle and make sure you have enough popcorn on hand!
